The Algerian Embassy in Moscow has the honor to inform all members of the Algerian community residing in the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and Armenia that the National People's Assembly (APN), in coordination with the Ministry of National Education, and the Ministry of Moudjahidine and Rights Holders as well as the Ministry of Culture and Arts, is organizing the "National Competition for the Best School Works" on the theme "Algeria and the fair causes". The event was officially launched under the slogan "Justice is the foundation of guaranteeing the rights of peoples", on January 16th 2025, at the honorable Assembly’s headquarters.
In this context, the Embassy invites the children of the Algerian community residing in Russia, Belarus and Armenia, who are enrolled in middle school, to participate in this competition, intended for all Algerian students, whether they reside in the national territory or abroad. This competition aims to promote Algeria's constant positions towards just and fair causes in the World, in particular the Palestinian one, to strengthen the principles of national identity among the younger generations, to awaken the liberation spirit in them , and to concretize the objectives of the Algerian school, aiming at training a citizen aware of his rights and duties towards himself, his society and his country.
The theme of the competition revolves around the following five areas: poetry, storytelling, singing, monologue and drawing (you will find attached an explanatory note detailing the terms and conditions of participation).
Participation is accessible in the two national languages, Arabic and Amazigh, but it is also possible to participate in English.
It should also be noted that the organizing institutions have planned five (05) specific awards for the "National Community Abroad" category, where pupils from our community who have presented exceptional school work will be honored, as well as their supervisors during their participation in this event. The National People's Assembly will cover the costs related to travel and accommodation of the deserving students and their supervisors so that they can receive their prizes in Algeria.
The Embassy asks students wishing to participate in this competition to send it an information form containing the following details:
- The student's first and last name,
- The school level,
- The address,
- The name of the school where the student is enrolled,
- The student's email address,
- The telephone number of the student or one of his parents/guardians,
- The field of activity in which he wishes to participate as well as the chosen language.
The participants should send their works to the official e-mail address of the Embassy: embalg@mail.ru, no later than March 5th , 2025.
Reminder: Participation in this competition is reserved to middle school pupils.
