COMUNIQUE
The Embassy of Algeria in Moscow is honored to inform all students in the Russian Federation whether of Russian, foreign or even Algerian citizenship residing in Russia, that under Presidential Decree No 83-25 dated February 20th 2025, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has launched its flagship program titled "Study in Algeria" starting from the 2025-2026 academic year.
This program aims to attract the maximum number of students of all nationalities to come and study in Algeria and benefit from the advantages of the Algerian higher education system, including a rich university network composed of 117 institutions among which 55 universities, 40 national higher schools, 13 teacher training colleges and 9 university centers covering the entire national territory, a quality education and affordable internationally competitive fees.
In return, the arrival of these students will contribute to the internationalization of the Algerian education system and create positive emulation for local students.
This program particularly targets students who wish to register independently to complete a full study cycle whether they are foreigners or Algerians residing abroad.
For Russian students, this program holds special importance following the signing of the Algeria-Russia Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Degrees and Qualifications in Algiers on January 25th 2025.
The Embassy invites all interested students to register on the official platform https://studyinalgeria.dz, open from April 8th to August 10th 2025. For more information, they can browse the sections available on the platform search for study programs using keywords, consult the attached guides in English, Arabic and French or watch promotional spots.
