Celebration of the World Arabic Language Day (December 18, 2023) visit of the Russian HSE students to the Embassy.

As part of the celebration of the World Arabic Language Day (December 18, 2023), H.E Ambassador GUENNAD Boumediene, received on December 26, 2023, at the Algerian Embassy, a group of Russian students from the Department of Middle East and Arabic language of the National Research University High School of Economics- (HSE), accompanied by their Arabic teacher.

This meeting was an opportunity to answer the questions of these students about the importance of the Arabic language, Algeria's political linguistic as well as the evolution of Algerian-Russian bilateral relations. In particular, they expressed the wish to visit Algeria and, if possible, to obtain scholarships to improve their knowledge of the Arabic language.

At the end of this meeting, these students underwent dictation and read poems in Arabic by Algerian authors.
