Meeting of H.E. the Ambassador of Algeria to the Russian Federation with a group of students, Members of the Association "Academy of Youth Diplomacy", based in Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan)

On October 17, 2024, His Excellency the Ambassador of Algeria to the Russian Federation, Mr. Boumediene GUENNAD, received at the Algerian Embassy, ​​a group of Russian students, Members of the Association "Academy of Youth Diplomacy", located in Kazan, and winners of the regional competition "Youth Ambassador" of the year 2024.

During this meeting, H.E. the Ambassador retraced the significant moments in the history of Algeria, in particular the fierce and perpetual struggle of the Algerian people against the French colonialism, which led to its independence on July 5, 1962. He also highlighted the strong and deep bonds of friendship that unite Algeria and the Russian Federation, forged since the colonial period.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador answered on the students' questions,  visiting Moscow as part of their training to enrich their experience in the fields of diplomacy and international relations.
