Algeria-Indonesia: Attaf discusses in New York with his Indonesian counterpart

Today, Tuesday, on the sidelines of his participation in the high-level session of the Security Council at the United Nations headquarters in New York, the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks with his counterpart from the Republic of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi, according to a ministry statement.

“The two parties touched on the tragic conditions left by the Zionist aggression against civilians in the Gaza Strip, and exchanged information about the humanitarian aid that the two countries took the initiative to provide to relieve the besieged Palestinian people deprived of all means of livelihood and survival,” the statement said.

On the other hand, on the horizon of the visit that Minister Retno Marsudi is expected to make to Algeria next December, the two ministers reviewed a number of files related to the existing historical relations between the two countries, which are witnessing very positive development and activity, the same source adds.
