As part of the series of Ramadan activities organized by our consular network abroad, Mr. Sofiane Chaib, State Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the National Community abroad, participated in the Ramadan Iftar organized by our Consulate General in New York for the benefit of our community residing in the United States of America.
During his speech delivered on this occasion via videoconference, the Secretary of State emphasized the symbolism of this initiative, which comes in the context of the year of continuous communication with members of the national community abroad, including during this holy month and its values that are in harmony with national origins and customs.
This remote participation was an opportunity to emphasize the importance that the country's supreme authorities attach to the national diaspora as an essential component and an integral part of the Algerian nation and the State's keenness to strengthen its ties with the motherland and involve its various energies in the various developmental projects of the country.
