President Tebboune welcomes Lebanese counterpart at Houari-Boumediene International Airport

ALGIERS — The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, welcomed Tuesday at Houari-Boumediene International Airport, in Algiers, the President of the brotherly Republic of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, who began an official visit to Algeria.

The President of the Republic reserved for his brother, the Lebanese President, an official welcome befitting the fraternal relations between the two countries, in the presence of high state officials and government members.

After having listened to the national anthems of the two countries, the two Presidents reviewed detachments of the different Forces of the People’s National Army (PNA) who rendered them honors, while a 21-cannon salute was fired in honor of Algeria’s guest.
