Organization of Focused Think-Tank Sessions with Youth, Students, and Competencies of the National Community Abroad
Under the Supervision of the High Council for Youth under the Presidency of the Republic, July 12th, 2025 – Moscow
The Embassy of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in Moscow is honored to inform members of the national community residing in the Russian Federation that, within the framework of the 2025-2026 activities program of the High Council for Youth targeting youth of the national community abroad, it will organize a discussion session in the form of focused think-tank groups on July 12th, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at the Embassy, aimed at young people, outstanding students, and owners of promising cultural or scientific projects at all levels (especially master's and doctoral students), as well as young national talents and investors from the Russian community residing in the Russian Federation.
These sessions aim to create spaces for participatory dialogue on the following themes:
- Discussing the challenges and opportunities available to Algerian scientific elites abroad to contribute to the development of scientific research in Algeria.
- Exploring ways to enhance the Algerian community’s contribution to the knowledge economy and investment opportunities in Algeria.
- Strengthening the sense of national identity among community youth and reinforcing their connection to their homeland.
- Developing an action plan to follow up on the implementation of recommendations from the think-tank groups.
Working Groups:
Participants will be divided into three main working groups:
- First Group: Scientific elites and their role in advancing scientific research in Algeria.
- Second Group: Knowledge economy and investment opportunities.
- Third Group: National identity and the connection of community youth to their homeland.
A facilitator and rapporteur will be assigned to each group. At the end of the session, each group will present its findings in a plenary session, and a report will be prepared summarizing the key recommendations.
Participation Requirements:
The Embassy invites all Algerian youth, students, and professionals from across the Russian Federation who wish to participate to submit:
- A brief CV.
- A project proposal (research, investment, or startup).
