Ambassador Boumediene GUENNAD took part in the Round Table entitled "Flags of all countries at RUDN University", which was organized on February 5, 2025, by the Russian University of Peoples' Friendship (RUDN)-Patrice LUMUMBA, on the occasion of its 65th Anniversary.
This round table brought together Ambassadors and Heads of Diplomatic Missions of all countries friendly to Russia, including countries whose students have pursued their higher education at this university. It should be noted that many heads of foreign missions or diplomats from developing countries accredited to Russia are graduates of this University.
Moderated by Mrs. Marina Olegovna REKETS, Vice Rector for International Affairs at RUDN, this round table allowed the intervention, through welcoming speeches of different personalities, such as Mr. Oleg Alexandrovitch YASTREBOV, Rector of the University, Mrs. Ksenia Olegovna TRINCHENKO, Director of the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Mr. Alexander Sergeievich ALIMOV, Director of the Department of Multilateral Humanitarian Cooperation and Cultural Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation as well as Mr. Pavel Anatolievich CHVETSOV, Deputy Director of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Residing Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation of the Russian Federation (ROSSOTRUDNITCHESTVO). On this occasion, Mrs. REKETS also presented the program for admission of foreign students to RUDN University for the academic year (2025-2026), based on quotas allocated by the Government of the Russian Federation.
Scholarships from the University were also awarded to deserving foreign students.
After taking a ceremonial group photo, representatives of diplomatic missions were invited to a buffet.
