As part of the commemorative festivities marking the 64th anniversary of Independence and Youth Day, celebrating the recovery of national sovereignty, His Excellency the Ambassador of Algeria to Moscow, Mr. Toufik DJOUAMA, organized a ceremony in honor of Algerian students who were brilliantly distinguished by obtaining their degrees with honors ("red diploma") in various cutting-edge academic disciplines at Russian universities. Thirty-seven (37) students were honored.
In his opening address, His Excellency the Ambassador paid tribute to the memory of the valiant martyrs of the glorious National Liberation Revolution, whose supreme sacrifices paved the way for freedom and dignity. The head of the diplomatic mission then emphasized the attention given by the Algerian public authorities, under the enlightened leadership of the President of the Republic, to the national community established abroad and to its highly qualified talents, reaffirming its pivotal role in the nation's development and nation-building efforts.
The Ambassador also extended his warmest congratulations to the laureates, praising their exceptional academic achievements, which honor the homeland and reflect their high sense of responsibility and perseverance. In this regard, he expressed his best wishes for their full success in their future academic and professional endeavors.
The ceremony was marked by the presentation of certificates of recognition and distinction of great symbolic value, aimed at encouraging these young talents to continue on the path of excellence. This gathering also offered a privileged opportunity to strengthen communication channels with the student community, to inquire about their concerns and expectations, and to exchange views on their future prospects, all in an atmosphere imbued with solemnity and fraternity, reaffirming the unwavering attachment of our national community abroad to their beloved homeland.
