The work of the annual session of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development began on Monday at the UN headquarters in New York, with the participation of an Algerian delegation led by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lounès Magramane, according to a statement from the ministry.
The work of this Forum, which will run until July 15, is structured around the theme "Transformative, equitable, innovative and coordinated actions in support of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals for a sustainable future for all," the press release reads.
Mr. Magramane will review "the sustained efforts undertaken by Algeria towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in accordance with the United Nations 2030 Agenda", and will present "Algeria's second voluntary national report entitled: Algeria towards a future based on sustainability, social inclusion and innovation".
