Boughali conveyed to the Venezuelan president "the congratulations of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, as well as his wishes for success in his missions, on the occasion of his re-election as president of the country," the same source said.
Highlighting "the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries", the president of the APN expressed, "on behalf of the President of the Republic, Algeria's commitment to strengthening cooperation and continued coordination with Venezuela in various areas".
He also "reviewed the exceptional historical relations uniting the two countries and discussed international issues of common interest," praising "Venezuela's consistent positions in favor of just causes, including the Palestinian and Sahrawi causes."
During this meeting, Mr. Boughali affirmed that "Algeria is fully prepared to continue and strengthen trade with Venezuela, in light of the economic reforms initiated by the President of the Republic, since his accession to the country's supreme office, with a view to diversifying exports and encouraging investments", recalling that "legal frameworks exist between the two countries, particularly in the sectors of hydrocarbons, agriculture, transport and tourism".
For his part, the Venezuelan president expressed "his thanks and gratitude to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for the high-level Algerian participation in this historic event", saluting, on this occasion, "the great revolutionary past of Algeria".
He also stressed the quality of relations with Algeria, calling for "strengthening cooperation between countries of the South in order to promote the values of peace and fight against neocolonialism through economic policies guaranteeing the dignity and economic sovereignty of States."
Present at this audience, on the Algerian side, were the Algerian ambassador to Caracas, Mr. Yacine Hadji, and the Director General "America" at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Hachemi, and, on the Venezuelan side, the President of the National Assembly, Mr. Jorge Rodriguez Gomez, the Vice-President of Venezuela, Ms. Delcy Rodriguez, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Yvan Gil, and the Vice-Minister for African Affairs, Mr. Yuri Pimentel, according to the same source.
