Proceeding with the inauguration of the Chahid Ali Ammar stadium, known as Ali la Pointe in Douera, the President of the Republic specified that "through the projects carried out in the sports sector such as the Nelson-Mandela stadium in Baraki and the Hocine-Aït Ahmed stadium in Tizi Ouzou, the installation of roofs in a number of stadiums in several wilayas like the July 5 Olympic stadium and the finalization of studies for the construction of two stadiums in the wilayas of Béchar and Ouargla, all regions of the country have benefited from sports infrastructure intended for our young people" .
On this occasion, the President of the Republic spoke with members of the family of Chahid Ali la Pointe, before handing over to the leaders of the Mouloudia club of Algiers (MCA) the presidential decree granting the operation of this stadium to this legendary club.
After visiting the various facilities of this sports infrastructure, the President of the Republic greeted the former MCA players and congratulated the club and its supporters for this stadium.
The President of the Republic also sent his encouragement to the players of the young categories of the MCA, wishing them to have a sporting career marked by success and consecrations and to bring honor to Algerian football in international competitions in the future.
