"As we meet today, thousands of helpless children, women and elderly people are prey to a machine of destruction and killing. This will remain a stain on the history of humanity in the face of the inability of the international community to demonstrate impartiality towards the Palestinian cause,” he said.

Algeria worked, in its capacity as a non-permanent member of the Security Council and a member of the Human Rights Council, to "present resolutions calling for the imposition of a ceasefire, to facilitate the transport of aid and to enforce international decisions", maintained the President of the Republic.
Algeria also sent humanitarian aid, in coordination with Egypt, a sister country, and provided aid to UNRWA, in an approach aimed at alleviating the suffering of our brothers in the State of Palestine, he said. -he adds.
"In accordance with the principles of its foreign policy, Algeria aims, through its participation in this event, three objectives, the first of which relates to the activation of UN resolutions calling for a ceasefire and the adoption mechanisms for an immediate ceasefire", continued the President of the Republic, welcoming resolution 2735 which must, he said, "be implemented immediately to put an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people without defense".
