This session, which follows on from the implementation of the Declaration of Deep Strategic Partnership signed in Moscow in June 2023 by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his Russian counterpart, Mr. Vladimir Putin, provided an opportunity to "discuss several regional and international issues of common interest, including the latest developments in the Sahel, the evolution of the situation in the Middle East, the Palestinian question and the question of Western Sahara," the same source said.
On this occasion, it was agreed to "continue close coordination with a view to promoting bilateral relations between the two countries in different fields in accordance with the ambitions and aspirations of the two friendly peoples," the statement concluded.
