ALGIERS - The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has signed a presidential decree convening the electoral body for July 2, 2026, for the election of members of the National People's Assembly (APN).
This is decree no. 26-145 of 16 Shawwal 1447 corresponding to April 4, 2026, published in the Official Journal (JO) No. 24.
"For the purpose of the election of members of the National People's Assembly, the electorate is convened on Thursday, July 2, 2026," the decree specifies.
"An exceptional revision of the electoral lists is open, starting on Sunday, April 12, 2026. It is closed on Sunday, April 26, 2026," according to the same source.
