The Embassy of Algeria in the Russian Federation has the honor to inform all Algerian students not benefiting from any scholarship from the Russian Government that the Russian People's Friendship University-Patrice Lumumba- (RUDN) is organizing the competitions “BE MASTER” and “PROJECT YOURSELF” for the 2024-2025 academic year, for the benefit of foreign students who wish to enroll in this university at the master’s level at their own expense.
The successful candidates will be able to obtain partial scholarships (200 scholarships maximum), in the amount of 100,000 to 130,000 rubles (equivalent of 1000-1300 euros) which will be used to cover tuition fees, the accommodation at the university dormitory or to pay for health insurance.
Studies can beeither in English or in Russian depending on the program chosen.
To participate in these competitions, the candidate must have a diploma from a foreign university obtained with a minimum average of (3.8/5) or its equivalent in the foreign system.
1-To participate in the “BE MASTER” competition, the candidate must:
- send an essay and a video on the reasons for choosing RUDN University and a specific master's program (03 possible choices maximum).
- provide documentation of scientific, professional, volunteer and social achievements, if applicable.
- undergo an online interview with members of the admissions committee.
2-To participate in the “PROJECT YOURSELF” competition, the candidate can apply for two master’s programs in two different projects among those offered:
-Project № 01: “university 2030: « management of educational Internationalprojects»
-Project № 02: “global smart cities 2030.”
-Project № 03: “the modern media industry in the international space”.
-Project № 04: “ecological design of a sustainable urban environment”.
-Project No. 05: “Human Rights in the global economy”
-Project °06: “Cultural promotion, tourism and regional development”
-Project n°07: “Artificial intelligence and society”.
3-To register for these competitions, which will take place on September 23rd, 2024, interested students, must submit their applications online on the master-programs.rudn.ru website before September 9th, 2024.
